"It is here that Ursus first meets Sarai, who is at this time using the alias Sar. She has disguised herself as a boy so as to get into the temple. Females are forbidden from serving in the Domhan’s military, called the Domagh Milita, but she seeks vengeance on the Skullions for the death of her family. Sarai is Trinitania’s niece, and heiress to the Domhan throne."
