Another character from Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Oy is a billybumbler from midworld, a semi-domesticated species which sort of crosses a terrier and a racoon, with the added bonus of having the gift of limited speech.

It would be hard to do it justice in a few words, but it's centered around a character named Roland, a Gunslinger traveling through a macabre world that's slowly deteriorating - socially, geographically, physically, and metaphysically. He's chasing "The Man In Black", a magician named Walter O'Dim, whose made appearances in several other Stephen King books under different aliases, most notabaly as Randall Flagg in The Stand. Roland wants to get to Walter to he can force him how to get to the Dark Tower - the nexus of all realities, so he can find a way to stop his world, and all worlds, from decaying into nothingness.
