Wait, wrong Michaelangelo...

Yeah, this one was a baby turtle that got tossed into the sewer, stumbled onto some radioactive chemicals, went through puberty, got big, and learned ninjitsu.

This was a nine year old sketch that I dragged out and scanned, colored in photoshop 5

Very cool. Your Turtles kinda remind me of the original comics art or the scenes in the first movie when the turtles are first mutating, cause you draw them with narrower "snouts" than in other media. But I do like how you're using the colors from the new show...I think giving them different color schemes gave them more personality.

I like the expression...it's pretty intense. And again the coloring and shading and everything is amazing. I also like how you drew and accented his muscles very well.

The shells you draw on your Turtles is pretty interesting...A little different from the official art, but I can't think of the right word to describe them. I think they look cool, though.

Only qualm I have with it is that the legs are kinda in a not-so-actiony pose as the expression and body language of the upper body might call for, but it's still pretty good. And if this is indeed a 9-year old sketch I really shouldn't be bringing it up even.

I tried to give the coloring and the texture of the shell as natural and realistic a feel as I could, same for the beak (yes, turtles have beaks, Mr Laird & Mr Eastman, not rounded nostriless snouts). As for the pose, no you're totally on base, I'm still very much in practicing in dynamic posing. I think a good fix for this one would have been to have the back leg outstretched more and the foot rotated back, so it looks more like he's leaping.
